OUR TEAM

Founded in 1974 by Gene Campbell, OBHC has been a cornerstone of duck hunting in Texas for over 50 years. Gene’s vision and legacy are carried on by a remarkable team of guides with over 300 years of combined experience. Among the earliest contributors were Gene’s brother, Bob Campbell, and close associates Tim Wolfford, Jimmy Trahan, and Scott Parker, whose expertise and dedication helped shape OBHC into the institution it is today.

Following in their fathers’ footsteps, Chris Campbell, Brad McBride, and Blake McBride have all guided at OBHC for over 25 years. Together, they represent the next generation of OBHC’s guiding legacy.

Rounding out the team are other seasoned professionals, including Drew Wood, Angel Shmodel, Jose Rodriguez, and Ralph Perez. The latest additions to the team include Scott Parker’s sons, Kole and Kade Parker, his brother Matt Parker, and his son Addison Parker. Also joining the crew is Marc Witt, further strengthening OBHC’s roster of expert guides.

OBHC’s commitment to exceptional guiding and a first-class hunting experience is rooted not only in its long history but also in the continued dedication of a team that spans generations of knowledge, skill, and passion for the outdoors.
